Dog on Adventures
Accessibility
Last updated September 29, 2026
We want everyone to be able to watch Ellie’s adventures, read about her book and shop. This site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we’ve done
- Text contrast is checked against the actual photographs behind it, on phones, tablets and desktops.
- Every link and button works from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring and a skip link to the main content.
- Images have text descriptions; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Animation respects your device’s reduced-motion setting. The video clips play without sound, have a pause control, and each has a written description.
- The page reflows down to 320 pixels wide, holds up with enlarged text spacing, and its text can be zoomed to twice its size.
What we don’t control
The shop and checkout run on Printful, and the book is sold on Lulu and Amazon. Their pages follow their own accessibility practices.
